Arriving at Haute-Rive From Paris (via Sarlat-La-Canéda)
From Paris CDG airport or Orly, Find the A10 Highway (AKA Autoroute d'Aquitaine) - (see map #1).
Follow A10 to the South (see map #2). When in Orléans, follow the signs to Limoges and Toulouse. You will notice that you are now on the A71 . Always follow the signs to Limoges ( and from Vierzon you'll be on the A20 )... And on A20 Go PAST Brive-La-Gaillarde Till the exit to Sarlat/Périgueux on the D703 via Souillac (Do not take the first sign to Sarlat / Périgueux going THROUGH Brive-La-Gaillarde, but the second one, that you will find about 10-15 miles further, via Souillac! - exit #55).
(See map #3) Once in Souillac, follow the signs to Sarlat. You will be on the D703 till you get to Carsac-Aillac, where you take the D704 to Sarlat. (Click to Open Map Of SARLAT). You leave Sarlat On The D57in the direction of Bergerac, Beynac and St.Cyprien.
(See map #4). Soon you will be crossing the village of Vézac, where you will see, on your right a church (see picture ) . Leaving Vézac, you will turn right, under a bridge and you will be on the D703 again, facing the mighty castle of Beynac ( See picture ). You will continue on the D703 past St. Cyprien , Berbiguières and Marnac (The last 2 are not On the road, but you will see signs on the left side of the road) . About 2 miles after you've passed the sign pointing to Marnac, you will see on your right an old Poplar tree (see picture). start slowing down, (in less than half a mile you will be turning right ) Passing by the tree, you will see in front of you a greenhouse and farm buildings with a wooden barn in front( see picture ) and when you get to the first, you will notice advertisement posters on the barn ( see picture ) and as you approach, you will turn right carefully between 2 farm buildings (see picture #1 & picture #2) into a dead-end little road. Follow that road to its end, into a courtyard... Home at last (see picture). PLEASE drive carefully, you might meet cats, squirrels, deer,and people on that narrow path.
