Day Markets - Going to the market, instead of the supermarket, can be real fun. Not only you can shop for foodstuff, clothing, second hand books, gardening tools etc... but you can also meet all kinds of people. Usually markets are in every place the same day of the week. day markets usually opens roughly around 8:30 am to 1:30 pm .Thus closest to Haute-Rive:

Monday is market day in Beynac and Les Eyzies

Tuesday is market day in Le Bugue

Wednesday is market day in Siorac (very small market ), Sarlat & Cadouin.

Thursday markets are in Domme, Monpazier, and between June the 26th and September the 4th, in Meyral.

Friday the market opens in Le Buisson and La-Roque-Gageac.

Saturday it is market day in Belvès and Sarlat.

Sunday is market day in St. Cyprien and Marquay (between Les Eyzies & Sarlat)

Beside these regular markets, there are in many places more special markets, like the truffle market (in the truffle season) of Ste.Alvère on mondays from 9 am, the arts and crafts market in Sarlat (06/15-09/30) or the organic product market near Molières, or various other markets with farmers selling their product (or, in french, Marché de producteurs).
