You can go down the valley of the Vézère from the caves of Lascaux near Montignac (30 miles / 48 Km's) to Limeuil's "confluent" (8.6 miles / 14 Km's), where the brownish Vézère flows into the clear Dordogne . the village of Les Eyzies has a lot to offer, beside the national museum of prehistory.
